Duties

• Perform lawn care activities such as mowing, edging, fertilizing, aerating, and overseeding to promote healthy turf growth.
• Conduct landscape maintenance tasks including planting, pruning, trimming trees and shrubs, and installing new landscaping features.
• Operate hand tools (e.g., shovels, rakes) and power tools (e.g., trimmers, blowers) safely and efficiently for various groundskeeping tasks.
• Use machinery such as excavators for site preparation or hardscape installation projects.
• Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or malfunctions and performing repairs as needed to ensure proper watering schedules.
• Assist with snow plowing during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe for visitors or residents.
• Support construction projects involving hardscape features like patios or walkways by preparing sites and installing materials with precision.
• Conduct tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and health assessments to promote safety and growth.
• Engage in gardening tasks such as soil preparation, planting flowers or shrubs, and mulching to enhance landscape aesthetics.
• Perform routine maintenance on landscaping equipment to ensure optimal operation and safety standards are met.
