Duties

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, pruning, trimming trees, planting flowers, and weed control to ensure healthy and attractive outdoor areas
• Operate a variety of hand tools and power tools such as trimmers, blowers, shovels, and lawnmowers to execute daily landscaping tasks efficiently
• Install and repair irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns while managing sprinkler schedules and troubleshooting issues
• Maintain hardscape features like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other structures to enhance landscape aesthetics and functionality
• Conduct plant identification to select appropriate species for specific environments and perform pest management practices responsibly using pesticides when necessary
• Assist with snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access around properties
• Support tree care activities including trimming, pruning, planting, and removal with proper techniques to promote healthy growth

Requirements

• Demonstrated mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment, hand tools, power tools, and irrigation systems
• Experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, lawn care, or related construction work
• Knowledge of plant identification, horticulture principles, and pesticide management practices
• Ability to operate heavy machinery such as excavators with safety awareness and proper training
