Landscape Laborer

Responsibilities

• Assist with landscape installation projects, including planting, sod laying, and hardscape setup
• Perform routine landscape maintenance such as mowing, trimming, pruning, and edging to keep properties pristine
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery like excavators safely and efficiently
• Support tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and planting to promote healthy growth
• Maintain irrigation systems by installing, repairing, or adjusting sprinklers and hoses for optimal watering
• Conduct snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access and clear pathways
• Collaborate with team members on construction projects involving hardscaping elements like patios or walkways

Requirements

• Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with landscaping equipment and hand tools
• Experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening preferred
• Ability to operate power tools such as trimmers, blowers, and saws safely
• Prior construction experience or knowledge of hardscape installation is a plus
• Knowledge of horticulture principles and tree care techniques
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, digging, and standing for extended periods
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is preferred for equipment operation roles
