Responsibilities

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, trimming, and pruning to keep outdoor areas pristine.
• Identify various plants, trees, and shrubs to ensure proper care and health.
• Manage irrigation systems to ensure efficient watering and troubleshoot issues as needed.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment such as excavators for landscaping projects.
• Apply pesticides and fertilizers responsibly following safety protocols to promote healthy plant growth.
• Assist with hardscape installations like patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
• Conduct seasonal tasks such as snow plowing and tree trimming to maintain safety and aesthetics year-round.

Qualifications

• Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with landscaping equipment and tools.
• Prior experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, or related outdoor work is preferred.
• Ability to identify plants and understand basic horticultural principles.
• Knowledge of pesticide management and safe handling practices.
• Experience operating irrigation systems, lawn care machinery, power tools, and excavators is a plus.
