Lawn Care Worker

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lawn Care Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for landscaping and a strong understanding of lawn care practices. This role involves maintaining the aesthetic and health of various landscapes, ensuring that properties are well-kept and visually appealing. This position will include maintaining commercial AND residential lawns.

Duties

• Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging to maintain healthy grass and landscapes.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and weed eaters ETC
• Conduct landscape maintenance including planting, weeding, and mulching to enhance the beauty of outdoor spaces.
• Execute tree care duties such as tree trimming and removal when necessary, ensuring safety and adherence to best practices.
• Maintain equipment in good working order through regular inspections and repairs as needed.

Requirements

• Proven experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or horticulture is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery safely.
• Familiarity with gardening techniques and plant care is essential.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy objects and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Knowledge of irrigation systems and their maintenance is a plus.
• Experience in construction or hardscape projects is beneficial but not mandatory.
• A valid driver's license is required for transportation to job sites.

You will be given a company truck to use and trailer with all materials needed to do your job. The jobs are located in Columbia, Cayce, West Columbia, Greenville, Florence and Lexington. The trailer will be parked nightly but you can use the truck for personal use. Gas will be provided for work hours so you will have to download an app to maintain milage for payments.

This is a one person job, same route, same jobs weekly.
