Lawn care Technician

Duties

• Mow lawns using power mowers and hand tools to ensure even, attractive grass coverage
• Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as edging, trimming, pruning, and shrubbery care
• Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting, repairing, and adjusting sprinklers to promote healthy plant growth
• Assist with tree care activities like trimming, pruning, and planting to enhance landscape aesthetics and safety
• Irrigation and landscape install
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various landscaping projects and maintenance tasks

Requirements

• The ability to work at least 40 hours per week.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with lawn care equipment and hand tools
• Experience with landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture is preferred.
• Ability to operate power tools such as trimmers, weed eaters, blowers, and lawn mowers safely
• Knowledge of tree care practices including trimming and pruning techniques
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift heavy equipment or materials of at least 60 pounds
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintenance tasks
• Prior experience with excavation or hardscape installation is a plus, but not mandatory
