Duties

• Operate lawn care equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hand tools to maintain lawns and gardens
• Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including planting, pruning, edging, and mulching
• Use power tools and machinery like excavators for site preparation and hardscape installation
• Perform tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, and planting to promote healthy growth
• Support irrigation system installation and maintenance to ensure proper watering of landscapes
• Conduct snow plowing during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe
• Maintain cleanliness of work sites by removing debris, weeds, and dead plant material

Requirements

• Mechanical knowledge related to lawn equipment, power tools, and hand tools
• Experience with lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening preferred but not required
• Ability to operate machinery such as excavators or snow plows is a plus
• Knowledge of horticulture principles and landscape design concepts is advantageous
• Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards safety and quality standards
• Prior experience in construction or tree care is beneficial but not mandatory
