Landscape crew driver

Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Landscape Crew Driver to join our outdoor maintenance team. This role involves operating various landscaping and construction equipment, transporting materials, and assisting with landscape projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, mechanical knowledge, and experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or related fields. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, including gardening, hardscape installation, tree care, and snow plowing during seasonal demands.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate landscape and construction equipment such as excavators, power tools, and hand tools
• Transport materials, plants, and equipment to job sites efficiently and safely
• Assist with lawn care tasks including mowing, trimming, and irrigation setup
• Perform landscape maintenance activities such as planting, pruning, tree trimming, and gardening
• Support hardscape projects including stonework and other structural installations
• Conduct snow plowing operations during winter months to ensure safety and accessibility
• Maintain equipment by performing routine inspections and basic maintenance tasks
• Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a secure work environment

Skills

• Mechanical knowledge for operating and maintaining landscaping machinery and tools
• Experience with lawn care, landscape maintenance, and gardening techniques
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment such as excavators
• Knowledge of tree care practices including trimming and pruning
• Ability to perform irrigation system installation and maintenance
• Familiarity with snow plowing operations during winter seasons
• Strong understanding of horticulture principles and hardscape construction techniques
