Responsibilities

• Mow lawns using various equipment such as push mowers, riding mowers, and power tools to achieve a clean, manicured appearance.
• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including planting, pruning, trimming trees, hedges, and shrubs to promote healthy growth and aesthetic appeal.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely for tasks like edging, aerating, fertilizing, and installing garden features.
• Operate heavy machinery such as excavators or other construction equipment when required for hardscape installation or site preparation.
• Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting, repairing, or installing components to ensure proper watering of landscapes.
• Assist with snow plowing during winter months to keep pathways safe and accessible.
• Support overall landscape projects by performing gardening duties and maintaining equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Experience

• Prior experience in lawn care, landscaping, or horticulture is preferred but not required; a willingness to learn is highly valued.
• Mechanical knowledge of power tools, hand tools, and landscaping equipment is beneficial.
• Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices including tree care, pruning, mowing, and hardscape installation enhances your effectiveness in this role.
