Landscape Maintenance Technician

Duties

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, weeding, and planting to keep outdoor spaces pristine and vibrant
• Operate hand tools, power tools, irrigation systems, and heavy equipment such as excavators safely and efficiently
• Identify various plants, trees, shrubs, and flowers to ensure proper care and maintenance
• Manage irrigation systems to optimize watering schedules and conserve water resources
• Conduct lawn care activities such as aeration, fertilization, overseeding, and pest management to promote healthy turf growth
• Trim trees and shrubs using appropriate techniques to maintain safety and aesthetic standards
• Execute hardscape projects including installation or repair of patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other landscape features
• Apply pesticides responsibly following safety guidelines to control pests while protecting the environment
• Assist with snow plowing operations during winter months to ensure safe access for clients and staff
• Support landscaping projects from planning through execution with construction experience when needed

Requirements

• Proven experience in landscape maintenance or related outdoor work environments
• Mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment, power tools, irrigation systems, and heavy machinery such as excavators
