Duties

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, and trimming trees and shrubs to ensure healthy growth and aesthetic appeal.
• Operate hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and power tools like trimmers and blowers to carry out landscaping projects efficiently.
• Use construction equipment such as excavators for larger landscape installations or modifications.
• Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure optimal watering schedules and water conservation.
• Design and implement hardscape features including patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures.
• Conduct lawn care activities like fertilizing, aerating, aeration, and snow plowing during seasonal changes.
• Assist with tree care activities including planting, trimming, pruning, and health assessments to promote safety and growth.
• Support garden development by planting flowers, shrubs, and other greenery while adhering to horticultural best practices.
• Maintain equipment through regular cleaning and inspections to ensure safety and efficiency during all landscaping operations.

Experience

• Proven experience in landscaping or related construction fields with a strong understanding of landscape maintenance techniques.
• Mechanical knowledge of power tools, hand tools, and landscaping machinery such as excavators is highly desirable.
