Landscaping Technician

Job Description

Plank Landscaping is seeking dedicated and hard-working Landscaping Technicians to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Landscaping Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the outdoor spaces of our clients by performing a variety of tasks such as planting, mowing, trimming, mulching, and designing landscape features. You will work in residential and commercial settings, ensuring that all landscapes are aesthetically pleasing, well-maintained, and healthy. Some of the properties are high-profile and special attention must be paid to detail.

Responsibilities

• Mowing, edging, and trimming lawns
• Planting flowers, shrubs, and trees
• Applying mulch, soil, and fertilizers to various landscapes
• Pruning and trimming trees and shrubs to promote growth and aesthetic appeal
• Installing and maintaining irrigation systems
• Maintaining landscape equipment and tools
• Stocking the truck with extra supplies, tools, and equipment as needed
• Handling pest control and lawn care treatments
• Working collaboratively with clients and team members to design and implement landscape enhancements
• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment

Qualifications

• Proven experience in landscaping
• Knowledge of plants, irrigation, and general landscaping techniques
• Ability to operate landscaping machinery and tools safely and effectively
• Strong physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
