Landscaping Team Lead (Part-Time / Flexible Schedule)

We're a local tree care and landscaping crew, and we're looking for someone who knows the work and can lead a small team through it. This isn't a desk job. You'll be outside, hands dirty, getting real work done for real customers who remember who did it right.

Here's the best part: you run your own schedule. Roughly 10–20 hours a week, but projects come in and you knock them out — evenings, weekends, early mornings, whatever fits your life. This is a great fit for someone who wants real work and real pay without being tied to a 9-to-5.

What you'll do

• Lay sod and get lawns looking sharp
• Grind stumps and clear the ground behind them
• Plant trees and shrubs the right way so they actually survive
• Handle rough and hard landscaping — grading, rock, pavers, retaining walls, the heavy stuff
• Run the crew on-site: set the pace, keep things safe, keep customers happy
• Load, unload, and maintain equipment
• Manage projects start to finish as they come in

What we're looking for

• Real hands-on landscaping or tree care experience
• Comfortable running equipment (skid steer, stump grinder, etc. — or willing to learn fast)
• Someone the crew respects and customers trust
• Self-starter who can own their own schedule and get the job done
• Reliable. If you commit to a project, you see it through.
• Valid driver's license
• Able to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet all day, in the weather
• Bonus: any tree care, arborist, or hardscaping certs

The schedule

This is flexible, project-based work — roughly 10–20 hours per week. There's no set shift. You take on projects as they flow in and complete them on a timeline that works for you and the customer. Great for someone who wants to control their own hours and get paid well for quality work.
