Duties

• Perform lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, and aerating to keep outdoor spaces healthy and vibrant
• Assist with landscape maintenance including planting, pruning, tree care, and shrub trimming to enhance aesthetic appeal
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks like digging, and edging
• Support construction projects by using equipment such as excavators and hardscape tools to build patios, walkways, or retaining walls
• Conduct routine maintenance on landscaping equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety
• Help with snow plowing during winter months to keep properties accessible and safe

Experience

• Prior experience in landscaping, lawn care, or horticulture is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for outdoor work is essential
• Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools are highly beneficial
• Experience operating equipment such as excavators or snow plows is a plus
• Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques including lawn care, landscape maintenace and hardscape installation is advantageous
• Ability to follow safety protocols diligently while working with construction equipment and gardening tools
• Strong teamwork skills combined with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills in landscaping and garden management
