Duties

• Mow lawns using power tools such as riding mowers and push mowers to ensure a neat, uniform appearance.
• Trim trees and shrubs with hand tools or power equipment like hedge trimmers and chainsaws to promote healthy growth.
• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including planting, fertilizing, watering, and mulching to enhance garden aesthetics.
• Operate heavy machinery such as excavators or skid steers for hardscape installation or land grading projects.
• Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting, repairing, and adjusting sprinklers to ensure proper watering schedules.
• Conduct snow plowing during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe for clients.
• Assist with general construction and landscaping projects by using hand tools and power tools efficiently and safely.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and maintain lawn care equipment and power tools.
• Proven experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, or related outdoor work.
• Familiarity with landscaping techniques including hardscape installation and horticulture principles.
• Ability to operate hand tools such as shovels, pruners, rakes, and wheelbarrows confidently.
• Experience with heavy machinery like excavators or tree care equipment is a plus.
