Responsibilities

• Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aerating to keep lawns healthy and vibrant
• Use hand tools and power tools for planting, pruning, trimming trees, and installing landscape features
• Maintain gardens by planting new flora, mulching beds, and managing irrigation systems for optimal growth
• Conduct landscape maintenance activities such as weed control, soil preparation, and pest management
• Operate heavy equipment like excavators, tractors, etc, for larger landscaping projects or hardscape installation
• Assist with pool care when necesary - scrubbing, chlorinating, turning on and off and large projects
• Janitorial duties including but not limited to trash around the park and parking lot

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge to operate and troubleshoot landscaping equipment and power tools effectively
• Expertise in lawn care practices including mowing, edging, fertilization, and aeration
• Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques such as pruning, tree trimming, and irrigation system management
• Familiarity with gardening principles and horticulture to promote plant health and growth
• Ability to use hand tools safely and efficiently for various landscaping tasks
• Experience with heavy machinery like excavators for large-scale projects or hardscape installation
• Good physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions
