Duties

• Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, and aerating to maintain healthy turf.
• Execute landscape maintenance activities such as pruning, trimming trees and shrubs, planting new greenery, and mulching beds.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for various landscaping projects.
• Use machinery like excavators and snow plows to assist with construction projects or seasonal clean-up.
• Conduct routine landscape inspections to identify areas needing attention or repair and perform necessary maintenance tasks.

Experience

• Proven experience in landscaping, gardening, or related outdoor maintenance roles.
• Mechanical knowledge of tools and equipment such as lawnmowers, trimmers, excavators, and power tools.
• Familiarity with horticulture principles including plant care, tree trimming, and soil management.
• Ability to operate landscaping machinery safely and effectively.
• Strong understanding of landscape maintenance practices including lawn care, and seasonal snow plowing.
