Crew Leader, Landscape

JS Landscape Inc. is seeking an experienced, dependable, and motivated Landscape Crew Leader to lead our landscape maintenance team. This hands-on leadership position is responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring high-quality workmanship, maintaining a safe work environment, and delivering exceptional service to our clients. The ideal candidate leads by example, works efficiently, and takes pride in producing outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a landscape maintenance crew on a daily basis.
• Assign tasks and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards.
• Operate and maintain commercial landscaping equipment, including zero-turn mowers, stand-on mowers, trimmers, blowers, hedge trimmers, chainsaws, and other landscape equipment.
• Perform lawn mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, mulching, seasonal cleanups, and other landscape maintenance services.
• Train and mentor crew members on proper equipment operation, safety procedures, and quality expectations.
• Conduct daily inspections of trucks, trailers, and equipment to ensure they are clean, safe, and ready for operation.
• Communicate professionally with customers and management regarding job progress, scheduling, and any concerns.
• Ensure company vehicles, equipment, and client properties are treated with care and professionalism.
• Complete daily job reports and promptly report equipment repairs or job-site issues.
• Promote a positive, productive, and team-oriented work environment.

Qualifications

* Minimum of 2–3 years of professional landscape maintenance experience. * Previous crew leader or supervisory experience preferred. * Valid driver’s license required. * Ability to safely operate commercial landscaping equipment. * Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. * Reliable, punctual, and dependable with a strong work ethic. * Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions. *...
