Landscape Foreman

Job Summary

We are seeking a Landscape Foreman to lead and oversee landscape maintenance/projects. In this role, you will manage a team of 1-2 crew members and ensure the delivery of high-quality outdoor environments. As a leader on-site, you will supervise daily operations, maintain safety standards, and foster teamwork to achieve outstanding results.

Duties

• Lead and supervise landscape crews to complete maintenance and pruning tasks efficiently
• Coordinate with project managers to meet specifications and address any site-specific requirements
• Ensure safety protocols are followed by all team members during operations and equipment use
• Conduct regular inspections of work sites to monitor quality standards and progress

Skills

• Some experience in landscape maintenance preferred but a coachable, motivated to learn attitude is most important
• Strong supervising and team management skills with the ability to motivate crew members
• Ability to identify plants accurately and provide appropriate care
• Excellent leadership qualities with a focus on safety and efficiency
• Familiarity with lawn care techniques, pruning practices and general maintenance tasks

Requirements

• Properly recording field time per tech
• Taking before/after pics of each property
• Track receipts
• Track any billable extras, such as pruning and trash/pet waste pick up
• Report any issues right away
• Safety check all tools, equipment, tie downs, and lights every time you depart a property
• Be a team player, be coachable, take pride in your work to deliver a quality product
• Show up to work on time with a positive attitude
• We have 4 rules: don't lie, don't cheat, don't steal, don't let the cats out
