Duties

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, planting, and fertilizing to ensure healthy and attractive landscapes.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery such as excavators and lawnmowers safely and efficiently.
• Install and repair irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and turf.
• Identify various plants, trees, shrubs, and flowers to provide appropriate care and pest management.
• Manage pesticide application following safety guidelines to protect plant health while minimizing environmental impact.
• Execute hardscape projects such as installing pathways, patios, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures.
• Conduct seasonal tasks like snow plowing and winterizing landscapes to keep properties safe year-round.
• Perform tree care including trimming, pruning, planting, and removal with proper techniques.
• Maintain equipment through routine inspections and repairs to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with clients or team members to plan landscape designs or improvements aligned with project goals.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in landscaping, gardening, or related construction fields with a strong understanding of horticulture principles.
