Responsibilities

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, and edging to keep outdoor areas pristine and healthy.
• Install and repair irrigation systems to ensure optimal watering efficiency for plants and lawns.
• Identify various plants, trees, shrubs, and flowers to ensure proper care and health management.
• Manage landscape projects involving hardscape features such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other construction elements.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for planting, digging, trimming, and other landscaping activities.
• Conduct tree care including trimming, pruning, and removal with appropriate safety procedures.
• Apply pesticides responsibly following safety guidelines to protect plants from pests while maintaining a safe environment.

Experience

• Proven experience in landscape maintenance or gardening with a solid understanding of horticulture principles.
• Mechanical knowledge of equipment such as excavators, lawnmowers, snow plows, and other landscaping machinery.
• Familiarity with irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting.
• Construction experience related to hardscape installation or landscape architecture is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of plant identification techniques and proper pruning methods for trees and shrubs.
