Responsibilities

• Perform lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aerating to keep grass healthy and vibrant
• Maintain landscape features including planting, pruning, tree trimming, and shrub care to promote growth and aesthetics
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery such as excavators safely and efficiently for various landscaping projects
• Install hardscape elements like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures with precision
• Conduct irrigation system installation, repairs, and maintenance to ensure proper watering of landscapes
• Provide seasonal snow plowing services to keep properties accessible during winter months
• Assist with general landscape maintenance tasks including soil preparation, mulching, and garden bed cleanup

Experience

• Proven experience in landscaping or horticulture with a solid understanding of lawn care, garden maintenance, and landscape design principles
• Mechanical knowledge related to operating power tools, hand tools, and small machinery such as excavators or trimmers
• Familiarity with tree care practices including trimming, pruning, and health assessment
• Knowledge of irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting techniques
• Ability to perform construction-related tasks involving hardscape installation or landscape modifications
