Landscape Worker

Job Description

:

We are looking for a hardworking and dependable individual to join our landscape crew. The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining the appearance and health of HHCI’s commercial properties in Redlands and Riverside, including lawn care, plantings, irrigation systems, and hardscape elements. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities

:

• Perform routine landscape maintenance & repairs, including mowing, edging, trimming, and weeding.
• Plant, prune, and fertilize trees, shrubs, flowers, and other plantings according to seasonal requirements.
• Inspect and repair irrigation systems, including sprinklers, valves, and controllers, to ensure efficient water usage and plant health.
• Install and maintain landscape features such as mulch, rock beds, retaining walls, and walkways.
• Operate and maintain landscaping equipment and tools safely and efficiently, including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hand tools.
• Monitor plant health and pest/disease issues, and recommend treatments or solutions as needed.
• Assist with landscape enhancements and renovations, including plantings, sodding, and landscape lighting installations.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas, vehicles, and equipment storage areas.

Requirements

:

• Previous experience in commercial landscape maintenance required.
• Knowledge of landscaping techniques, plant care, and irrigation systems.
• Ability to operate landscaping equipment and tools safely and effectively.
• Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks requiring repetitive motions, bending, stooping, and lifting.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality workmanship.
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
