Landscape Technician

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance and care. This role involves various tasks aimed at enhancing and maintaining the aesthetic appeal of residential and commercial properties. The Landscape Technician will work with both hand and power tools, ensuring that all landscaping projects are completed to the highest standards.

Duties

• Perform lawn care activities including mowing, edging, and trimming to maintain healthy grass and garden areas.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various landscaping tasks such as planting, pruning, and mulching.
• Assist in snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access to properties.
• Conduct tree care including pruning, planting, and removal as necessary.
• Build landscape features such as flower beds, retaining walls, and pathways to enhance property aesthetics.
• Maintain equipment by performing routine checks and basic mechanical repairs as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their landscaping needs.

Requirements

• Proven experience in landscape maintenance or a related field is preferred.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Knowledge of lawn care practices, garden maintenance, and landscape design principles.
• Mechanical knowledge for basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting is advantageous.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physical tasks including lifting heavy materials.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• A valid driver's license may be required for transportation to job sites.
• A form of personal transportation
