Landscape Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Landscape Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces through a variety of landscaping, gardening, and lawn care activities. Responsibilities

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, trimming trees, and shrubbery care using hand tools and power equipment.
• Operate lawn care machinery such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and snow plows to ensure efficient upkeep of properties.
• Assist with planting, horticulture practices, irrigation system installation and repairs to promote healthy plant growth.
• Conduct landscape construction projects including hardscape installation (patios, walkways) and site preparation using excavators and other construction equipment.
• Maintain equipment through routine inspections and mechanical knowledge to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Support seasonal tasks such as snow plowing and winter storm cleanup to keep properties accessible year-round.
• Collaborate with team members on landscape design projects and execute tree care including trimming, removal, and health assessments.

Requirements

• Proven experience in landscaping, lawn care, or related outdoor maintenance roles.
• Mechanical knowledge with familiarity in operating power tools, hand tools, excavators, and other landscaping machinery.
• Strong understanding of horticulture principles, tree care techniques, irrigation systems, and garden maintenance.
• Construction experience is preferred for hardscape projects and site preparation tasks.
