Responsibilities

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, trimming trees, and planting to ensure healthy and attractive outdoor spaces.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for tasks such as digging, planting, and installing landscape features.
• Use equipment like excavators and other construction machinery to assist with site preparation, grading, or hardscape installation.
• Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting, repairing, and adjusting sprinklers to ensure proper watering schedules..
• Conduct routine landscape inspections to identify areas needing attention or repair and perform necessary maintenance or coordinate with specialists like arborists for tree care or trimming.
• Support gardening activities by planting new flora, mulching beds, fertilizing plants, and ensuring overall landscape health.

Qualifications

• Must have valid drivers license and know how to maneuver trailers.
• Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience operating hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment such as lawn mowers and excavators.
• Knowledge of lawn care practices including mowing, edging and fertilizing.
