Responsibilities

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, and trimming trees and shrubs to ensure healthy growth and aesthetic appeal
• Operate power tools such as trimmers, blowers, hedge cutters, and hand tools safely and efficiently to complete daily tasks
• Conduct lawn care activities like aeration, fertilization, overseeding, and weed control to promote lush, healthy turf
• Assist with landscape installation projects including planting flowers, shrubs, trees, and installing hardscape features like patios or walkways
• Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or malfunctions and performing repairs as needed to ensure proper watering schedules
• Support snow plowing operations during winter months to keep pathways safe and accessible
• Perform routine landscape maintenance including debris removal, mulch spreading, soil preparation, and general site cleanup

Requirements

• Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience operating landscaping equipment and hand tools
• Prior experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance or gardening preferred but not required; training provided for motivated candidates
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards
• Familiarity with landscaping techniques such as tree care, pruning, mowing, hardscape installation, and horticulture principles
