Landscape Technician

Duties

• Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aeration to keep turf healthy and vibrant
• Maintain landscape features such as planting beds, shrubs, trees, and hardscape elements with precision and care
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as skid steers, zero-turn mower, and tractors safely and efficiently
• Conduct tree trimming, pruning, and tree care to promote healthy growth and safety
• Install irrigation systems and perform routine maintenance to ensure proper watering coverage
• Assist with landscape construction projects including hardscape installation like patios, walkways, and retaining walls
• Provide general landscape maintenance by weeding, mulching, and seasonal clean-up activities to keep properties pristine

Experience

• Prior experience in landscaping, horticulture, or related outdoor maintenance roles is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
• Mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment, power tools, and small machinery is highly desirable
• Familiarity with lawn care techniques
• Knowledge of plant health care including pruning, tree trimming, and gardening best practices
• Ability to operate equipment is a plus
• Strong understanding of safety procedures when handling tools and machinery in outdoor environments
