Landscape Technician

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Landscape Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces through a variety of landscaping, gardening, and groundskeeping tasks. Responsibilities

• Perform lawn care activities including mowing, edging, and weeding.
• Maintain landscapes by pruning trees and shrubs, trimming hedges, and performing tree care such as trimming and removal when necessary.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery including grading, or hardscape installation projects.
• Install and repair irrigation systems to ensure efficient watering of landscapes.
• Carry out landscape maintenance tasks including planting flowers, mulching beds, installing hardscape features like patios or walkways, and maintaining garden beds.
• Support construction projects involving landscape design elements or site improvements under supervision.

Requirements

• Valid drivers license and ability to drive a truck and trailer.
• Knowledge of lawn care practices, landscape maintenance techniques, and horticulture principles.
• Experience with landscaping projects including hardscape installation and gardening tasks.
• Ability to perform physical work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards.
• Strong understanding of tree care practices including trimming and removal.
• Familiarity with irrigation systems, and general maintenance procedures.
• Prior experience in construction or landscaping is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential.
