Responsibilities

• Assist with landscape installation and maintenance projects, including planting, mulching, and soil preparation
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks such as mowing, edging, trimming, and pruning
• Maintain lawns through mowing, aeration, fertilization, and weed control to ensure lush, healthy turf
• Support tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and planting using appropriate equipment like chainsaws and tree spades
• Help install and repair irrigation systems to ensure efficient watering of landscapes
• Perform hardscape work such as laying pavers, retaining walls, or pathways under supervision
• Conduct snow plowing operations during winter months to keep properties accessible and safe during inclement weather

Requirements

• Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping and construction
• Experience or interest in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture
• Ability to operate equipment such as excavators or other small machinery is a plus but not required; training will be provided
• Strong work ethic with attention to safety procedures when handling tools and machinery
