Duties

• Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery including excavators and other construction equipment safely and effectively
• Support tree care activities like trimming, planting, and removal to promote healthy growth and safety
• Maintain irrigation systems by installing, repairing, or adjusting components to ensure proper watering schedules
• Help with hardscape projects such as installing patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures
• Perform snow plowing during winter months to keep pathways clear and accessible
• Conduct routine gardening tasks including soil preparation, fertilization, mulching, and pest control to enhance landscape aesthetics

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical knowledge combined with familiarity in using hand tools and power tools for landscaping tasks
• Experience or interest in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture is preferred
• Ability to operate small machinery such as excavators or similar construction equipment is a plus
• Knowledge of tree care practices including trimming and planting techniques
