Duties

• Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, pruning, and planting to ensure healthy and attractive outdoor spaces
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for tasks including edging, digging, and planting
• Support installation of hardscape features like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures
• Perform lawn care activities such as aeration, fertilization, overseeding, and snow plowing during seasonal changes
• Help with irrigation system installation and maintenance to ensure proper watering of landscapes
• Conduct tree care including trimming, pruning, and basic tree health assessments under supervision
• Maintain equipment and tools regularly to ensure safety and optimal performance

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping projects
• Prior experience or interest in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening is a plus
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina for manual labor tasks
• Knowledge of landscaping principles, horticulture practices, or construction is advantageous but not required
