Duties

• Assist with landscape installation including planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and installing hardscape features such as patios or walkways
• Perform lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, trimming, and aerating lawns to ensure healthy growth and aesthetic appeal
• Maintain landscape features through pruning, tree trimming, irrigation system checks, and seasonal snow plowing when necessary
• Operate hand tools (shovels, rakes, pruners) and power tools (weed eaters, blowers) safely and effectively to support various projects
• Support landscape maintenance activities like fertilizing, watering, mulching, and soil preparation to promote plant health
• Assist with equipment operation including excavators or other machinery for larger construction or landscaping tasks
• Conduct routine inspections of landscapes for pests or disease issues and perform basic horticultural practices to improve plant vitality

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment and tools
• Experience with lawn care, gardening, or landscape maintenance preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping and construction environments
