Responsibilities

• Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, pruning, and planting to keep outdoor spaces vibrant and healthy
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for various landscaping projects
• Use equipment like excavators and other construction machinery to prepare sites for planting or hardscape installation
• Perform tree care including trimming, pruning, and removal to promote healthy growth and safety
• Maintain irrigation systems, ensuring proper operation and troubleshooting issues as needed
• Support snow plowing operations during winter months to ensure safe access for clients
• Contribute to the installation of hardscape features such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other structures

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping
• Prior experience or knowledge in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening is preferred but not required
• Ability to operate equipment such as excavators or snow plows is a plus
• Strong understanding of horticulture principles and plant care techniques
• Good physical stamina with the ability to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions
