Duties

• Assist with landscape installation, including planting, mulching, and soil preparation using hand tools and power equipment
• Perform lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, aerating, and fertilizing to ensure healthy turf growth
• Maintain landscape features by pruning trees and shrubs, trimming hedges, and performing tree care activities
• Operate machinery including excavators, snow plows, and other construction equipment safely and efficiently
• Support irrigation system installation and maintenance to ensure proper watering of landscaped areas
• Conduct landscape maintenance routines such as weed control, pest management, and hardscape upkeep
• Use hand tools and power tools for various landscaping tasks while adhering to safety standards

Requirements

• Prior experience or knowledge of landscaping, horticulture, or gardening is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery such as excavators safely and responsibly
• Mechanical knowledge or experience with construction equipment is a plus
• Physical stamina to perform outdoor labor in various weather conditions including snow plowing during winter months
• Strong attention to detail for tasks like tree trimming, lawn care, and landscape maintenance
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment
