Duties

• Assist with landscape installation, including planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and installing irrigation systems.
• Maintain lawns through mowing, edging, trimming, and fertilizing to ensure lush, healthy turf.
• Operate hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and power tools including trimmers and blowers to perform routine landscape maintenance.
• Support hardscape projects by preparing surfaces, laying pavers or stones, and assisting with excavation using equipment like mini-excavators.
• Perform seasonal tasks such as snow plowing and snow removal to keep properties accessible during winter months.
• Identify various plants and trees for proper care and maintenance; apply horticultural knowledge to promote healthy growth.
• Assist with irrigation system installation and repairs; monitor for leaks or malfunctions to ensure efficient watering practices.
• Support tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and hazard assessment to promote safety and vitality.
• Conduct routine landscape inspections to identify maintenance needs or pest issues; assist with pesticide management following safety protocols.
• Maintain equipment through cleaning, basic repairs, and proper storage to ensure operational readiness.
