Duties

• Assist with landscape installation projects, including planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and installing hardscape features such as patios and walkways
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks like mowing, trimming, edging, and general landscape maintenance
• Support irrigation system installation and repairs to ensure optimal watering efficiency
• Perform lawn care duties such as mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aerating lawns to maintain healthy turf
• Conduct landscape maintenance tasks including pruning trees and shrubs, mulching beds, and removing debris
• Help with snow plowing operations during winter months to keep pathways safe and accessible
• Support excavation activities using equipment like mini-excavators for grading or planting purposes

Skills

• Mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain various landscaping tools and equipment effectively
• Experience with lawn care, gardening, and landscape maintenance practices
