Duties

• Assist with landscape installation projects, including planting trees, shrubs, and flowers with precision and care
• Perform routine landscape maintenance such as trimming trees and shrubs, edging beds, and pruning to promote healthy growth
• Operate hand tools and power equipment safely and effectively for tasks like digging, aerating, and planting
• Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or malfunctions and making necessary adjustments or repairs
• Support hardscape construction projects by preparing sites, laying pavers or stonework, and installing features like pathways or retaining walls
• Conduct landscape care activities including fertilizing, pest management, and plant identification to ensure healthy plant life
• Assist with snow plowing during winter months to keep outdoor spaces accessible and safe

Experience

• Prior experience in landscaping, gardening, or groundskeeping is preferred but not required; we welcome motivated learners eager to grow their skills
• Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices such as mowing, edging, pruning, and planting techniques
