Lead Landscaper

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced landscaper to lead our landscaping and outdoor property maintenance projects. In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of landscaping crews, ensuring high-quality execution of landscape maintenance, lawn care, shrub/tree removal, weed removal, and pressure washing (if interested, it is the main part of the business). As a leader, you'll motivate your team to deliver exceptional outdoor environments and hardscapes while managing multiple projects with efficiency and precision. Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate landscaping crews to ensure timely completion of projects, including planting, pruning, lawn care, and landscape maintenance.
• Identify various plants, trees, and shrubs to guide proper planting, pruning, and health management practices.
• Lead projects teams from planning through execution, ensuring safety standards and quality benchmarks are met.
• Manage crew schedules, assign tasks effectively, and monitor performance to foster a motivated and productive team environment.
• Regularly inspect job sites for landscape maintenance, pest control, soil health, and overall plant vitality.
• Collaborate with clients and project managers to develop landscape designs that align with aesthetic goals and environmental considerations.

Experience

• Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping design or installation, with a strong background in horticulture or gardening.
• Supervising or team management experience within the landscaping or construction industry.
• Skilled in lawn care practices and operating the equipment.
