Duties

• Mow lawns using push mowers, zero turn
• mowers, or other equipment to achieve a neat, even appearance.
• Trim trees, shrubs, and hedges with hand tools or power tools to promote healthy growth and enhance visual appeal.
• Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as edging, weeding, planting, and mulching to keep outdoor areas vibrant.
• Assist with snow plowing during winter months to keep pathways safe and accessible.
• Use hand tools like shovels, rakes, pruners, and hedge trimmers efficiently and safely for various landscaping tasks.
• Conduct routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with power tools and landscaping equipment.
• Prior experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of horticulture principles and tree care techniques.
• Ability to operate heavy machinery such as skid loaders or snowplows is a plus but not required; training will be provided if necessary.
• Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
• Possessing your pesticide license is not a must but highly encouraged.
