Duties

• Operate lawn care equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers to maintain lawns and gardens
• Perform landscape maintenance including planting, pruning, edging, and fertilizing to enhance curb appeal
• Use hand tools and power tools safely to install or repair hardscape features like patios, walkways, and retaining walls
• Conduct tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and removal with appropriate tools and techniques
• Assist with irrigation system installation and maintenance to ensure healthy plant growth
• Support snow plowing operations during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe
• Maintain equipment through regular cleaning, inspection, and basic mechanical repairs as needed

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge to operate and troubleshoot lawn care machinery and hand tools
• Experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, and horticulture practices
• Familiarity with landscaping techniques including hardscape installation and tree trimming
• Ability to use power tools safely and effectively for various outdoor projects
• Knowledge of irrigation systems and snow plowing procedures is a plus
• Good physical stamina for outdoor work in all weather conditions
