Responsibilities

• Mow lawns using power tools such as riding mowers, push mowers, and string trimmers to ensure a clean, manicured appearance.
• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including edging, trimming, pruning trees, and shrubbery to promote healthy growth and aesthetic appeal.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools for planting, weeding, aerating soil, and installing garden features or hardscape elements like patios and walkways.
• Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or blockages and making necessary adjustments to ensure proper watering schedules.
• Conduct seasonal snow plowing operations to keep pathways clear during winter months, ensuring safety and accessibility.
• Assist with tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, or removal using appropriate equipment like chainsaws or excavators when necessary.
• Support overall site maintenance by cleaning up debris, applying mulch, and ensuring all equipment is properly maintained for optimal performance.

Requirements

• Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience operating landscaping equipment including mowers, trimmers, excavators, and power tools.
• Knowledge of lawn care practices, landscape maintenance techniques, and horticulture principles.
