Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance practices. This role involves various tasks related to garden care, lawn maintenance, and groundskeeping, ensuring that our clients' outdoor spaces are beautiful and well-maintained throughout the year.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular lawn care activities including mowing, edging, and trimming to maintain healthy grass and plant life.
• Execute irrigation tasks to ensure proper watering of gardens and lawns, adjusting systems as needed.
• Assist in the installation and maintenance of hardscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
• Conduct groundskeeping duties including weeding, mulching, planting flowers, shrubs, and trees.
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to operate landscaping equipment safely and efficiently.
• Dig and prepare soil for planting or installation projects while adhering to safety protocols.
• Provide snow plowing services during winter months to ensure safe access for clients.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while maintaining high-quality standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in landscaping or groundskeeping is preferred but not required.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various landscaping tools and machinery.
• Familiarity with garden care techniques including irrigation systems and plant maintenance.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy materials and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• A valid driver’s license is preferred for transportation to job sites.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering quality work.
