Landscaping Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance. This role involves performing various tasks related to lawn care, garden maintenance, and overall landscape enhancement. The Landscape Technician will contribute to creating beautiful outdoor spaces while ensuring the health and vitality of plants and lawns.

Responsibilities

• Perform lawn care activities including mowing, edging, and fertilization to maintain healthy grass.
• Utilize hand tools and equipment for effective landscape maintenance.
• Assist in the design and installation of new garden beds and landscaping features.
• Carry out tree trimming and tree care tasks to promote healthy growth and aesthetics.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment after each job.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding their landscape needs and preferences.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in lawn care, landscaping, or horticulture is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with hand tools used in landscaping such as pruners, shovels, rakes, and blowers.
• Knowledge of plant types, growth patterns, and care requirements is a plus.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Valid driver's license may be required depending on job duties.
• A willingness to learn new skills related to landscape maintenance techniques.
