Duties

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, pruning, and trimming trees and shrubs to ensure healthy growth and appealing appearance
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for planting, edging, aerating, and other landscaping activities
• Install hardscape features including patios, walkways, retaining walls, and decorative stonework to enhance outdoor aesthetics
• Conduct lawn care routines such as, aerating, overseeding, and weed control to promote lush greenery
• Use excavators and other construction equipment for larger projects like land grading or installing landscape features
• Provide tree care services including trimming, pruning, planting new trees, and removing hazardous limbs to ensure safety and health of the landscape

Skills

• Mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment and tools such as lawnmowers, trimmers, and blowers.
• Experience with landscape maintenance techniques including mowing, gardening, snow plowing (seasonal), and hardscape installation
• Ability to operate hand tools (shovels, rakes) and power tools safely with precision
• Knowledge of tree care practices including trimming, pruning, and planting.
• Slight familiarity with construction processes related to landscaping projects involving excavation or hardscape installation
