Landscape Technician

Duties

• Perform lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aerating to keep lawns healthy and vibrant
• Maintain landscape features including planting beds, shrubs, trees, and flower installations with precision and care
• Operate hand tools and power equipment such as trimmers, blowers, and lawn mowers efficiently and safely
• Assist with landscape construction projects including hardscape installation like patios, walkways, and retaining walls
• Conduct tree trimming and pruning to promote healthy growth and safety across properties
• Support irrigation system installation, repair, and maintenance to ensure optimal watering efficiency
• Carry out snow plowing operations during winter months to keep driveways and walkways accessible

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment and tools
• Experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening preferred
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and small machinery such as excavators is advantageous
• Knowledge of horticulture principles and tree care practices
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy materials and operating machinery safely
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to landscape upkeep and safety standards
• Prior experience in construction or hardscape projects is a plus
