Landscape Operations Manager

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate daily landscape maintenance activities, including lawn care, gardening, planting, pruning, and tree care to ensure optimal health and aesthetics of outdoor spaces
• Manage landscaping projects from planning through execution, ensuring timely completion within budget parameters for construction projects
• Lead and motivate crew members, providing clear direction, training, and support to foster a high-performance team environment
• Oversee irrigation systems installation, maintenance, and repairs to promote efficient water use across all landscapes
• Conduct plant identification assessments to select appropriate species for specific environments and client needs
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations during all operations
• Maintain detailed records of project progress, equipment maintenance, crew schedules, and inventory management

Requirements

• Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping, or horticulture with a focus on outdoor project management
• Supervising experience leading teams of crew members or technicians in outdoor settings
• Strong knowledge of plant identification, irrigation systems (including irrigation management), lawn care techniques, and tree care practices
• Construction experience related to projects is highly desirable
