Duties

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, planting, and fertilizing to keep outdoor spaces attractive and healthy
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment such as excavators safely and efficiently for various landscaping projects
• Maintain and repair irrigation systems, ensuring proper water distribution and system functionality
• Identify plants, trees, shrubs, and pests to support healthy growth and effective pest management strategies
• Conduct lawn care activities such as aeration, overseeding, and weed control to promote lush turf conditions
• Install and repair hardscape features like walkways, patios, retaining walls, and other landscape structures

Experience

• Prior experience in landscape maintenance or horticulture is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated learners
• Knowledge of plant identification, pesticide management, and irrigation systems is highly desirable
• Familiarity with landscaping techniques including tree care, pruning, trimming, and lawn care practices
• Ability to operate construction equipment such as excavators or similar machinery is a plus
