Responsibilities

• Perform lawn care duties including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aerating to ensure healthy and attractive turf.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools for planting, pruning, trimming trees, shrubs, and hedges, as well as installing landscape features.
• Maintain gardens by watering, weeding, mulching, and applying horticultural practices to promote plant health.
• Operate equipment such as excavators and snow plows for seasonal maintenance tasks or construction projects.
• Install and repair irrigation systems to ensure efficient watering of landscapes.
• Execute hardscape projects including the installation of pathways, patios, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures.
• Conduct regular inspections of landscapes for issues related to tree care, pest control, or safety hazards; perform tree trimming as needed.
• Assist with snow plowing during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe for visitors or residents.
• Support construction or renovation projects by preparing sites with land clearing or excavation work using appropriate machinery.
• Follow safety procedures diligently while handling landscaping equipment and power tools to prevent accidents or injuries.

Experience

• Prior experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, or groundskeeping is highly preferred.
