Responsibilities

• Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging and aerating to keep turf healthy and lush
• Maintain gardens and planting beds through planting, pruning, weeding, mulching, and watering
• Operate hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and hoes for landscape maintenance projects
• Use power tools including trimmers, blowers, and small excavators to shape and prepare landscapes
• Conduct tree care activities like trimming, pruning, and assessing tree health for safety and aesthetics
• Perform snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access to properties
• Conduct routine inspections of landscape features for maintenance needs or repairs
• Collaborate with team members on landscaping projects to achieve high-quality results efficiently

Qualifications

• Mechanical knowledge with experience using hand tools and power tools required for landscape maintenance tasks
• Prior experience in lawn care, gardening, or landscape maintenance preferred but not mandatory; training provided for motivated learners
• Knowledge of horticulture principles including plant care and tree trimming techniques beneficial
